Memories of My Sister

How well I do remember
All the special times we had
As we were raised side by side
Sharing good times, sharing bad

Sometimes we would disagree
But always made up in the end
And as we grew to be adults
We became the best of friends

Then you heard the voice of Jesus
Gently calling from on high
He was holding out His loving arms
But I could not say "goodbye"

So I said "see you later"
Dear sister, wait for me
In the beauty of God's Heaven
Where the best is yet to be
For Shane

As darkness slowly seeps into the air The March Sun sinks
further into the pillows that are made of mountains
I feel drawn to the night Which I once so fiercely fought.

Velvety soft wings envelop me And my heart is full of you.

If tomorrow comes without me If the darkness should carry
me softly away
If I have heard my last dawn chorus, Seen my last bright
sunrise, lived my last sweet day

Wrap my love around you like a blanket When winter
comes, to keep you warm.
And forgive me that I am not with you.

Let my love carry you through the storm.
Never let go.

love Cricket
You were always my hero,
Shane
Were There Three Angels in the Car With Shane's Dad?

Saturday, the day before Easter, Brooke's mother Carol, and Carol's sister Debi,
had been talking with Shane's dad Steve.
He had come home from work the day before after blacking out. Since the
blackout Steve had not regained his vision completely, and was disoriented and
weak.

Carol and Debi talked with Steve and decided there was something seriously
wrong with him. They talked him into going to the hospital, which he would
never have done on his own. Debi drove him to the emergency room with Carol
riding along.

Tests at the hospital showed he had a blood clot in the right occipital artery
causing his loss of sight. He was kept in the hospital and underwent numerous
tests.

Monday morning Steve quoted the doctor as saying, "he did not understand how
Steve was alive today, and that the blood clot that showed up on the MRI was
now gone."

Steve's son, Shane, who just lost his beloved sister Brooke, with his heart and
eyes so filled with pain...could not have withstood another loss at this time.

So I ask you.....were there three angels in the car with Shane's dad?
